Taken a few years ago here in the central interior of British Columbia. This male lynx was taking advantage of a moose carcass, and we were able to use our vehicle as a blind. Canon 1DX + EF 800mm f/5.6L lens.

Brilliant sighting of this Lynx as I guess it goes out to snack on that moose.

A moose carcass would provide a welcome food source for a lot of wildlife in the winter snows, Pete and this handsome lynx was no doubt getting his share. What a beautiful cat!

Gorgeous prowling view of this beautiful cat. Love seeing those spiky ear tufts. :)

The intense stare gives this Lynx a very imposing look, despite it not being a large animal. Wonderful observation and taking full advantage of your surroundings. Image should be clicked for full effect.

Excellent low angle, head-on pose. Some nice eye contact.
