This Walrus (Odebenus rosmarus) paused to smile for the camera while hauling himself down to the water. Taken 6 years ago in April, on a haul-out north of Svalbard. Taken close to midnight, we landed from zodiacs after dinner, probably hoping for better light. 

ISO2000, 400mm, f3.2, 1/320, by Canon.

That's a very toothy smile! I've got to wonder what it's like walking around with those big "teeth/tusks. Looks like an enormous fellow. Nice snowy setting.

Smile? Well maybe. Nicely composed with a nice head turn. I like the diagonal slope in the background.
