A very powerful looking lion in a different looking environment. The side lighting brings out the texture of his mane, and highlights his eyes very well.

Great pose and light. I like you kept the end of the tail on the RHS, but might have been tempted to open up the LHS for a but more space. Would also bring in more of that great background colour.
