A Mule Deer fawn just on the outskirts of Red River, NM captured while he was standing in the Sage and yellow flowers. Taken in August of this year.
Nikon D850, Nikon 200-500 f5.6. Taken at 370mm@f5.6, 1/640 sec.

How sweet! Love the flowery environment and that charming inquisitive look. I'd nip a bit off the top of the picture to remove some of the blurry bare ground, but it's really very appealing in any case.

+1. Agree with the slight crop off the top. The DOF on the deer is great especially considering the aperture. Very nice attentive look as well.
