Such pretty colouring on the Tules, Richard, and this is a very handsome bull with one of his ladies in a lovely peaceful scene.  A beautiful image!

So peaceful! I love the harmonious setting-the soft frosted (?) grasses. Really beautiful.

A great scene, I really like the cold and misty atmosphere that contrasts with the warm color of the elk.

As others have mentioned, the misty day makes for a wonderful atmosphere fore this peaceful scene of the Elk. Terrific composition that perfectly includes the female as part of the background and adds to the overall image.
