It's unusual to see them on the ground as danger abounds. Taken in Bako National Park, western Borneo.

D850, 500mm, f5.6, 1/500th, -0.3EV, ISO400.

Excellent low angle and light on this Des. Love the way the bright colour of the Monkey stands out against the darker bg.

As you say, rarely seen out of the trees, Des so good to catch this one on the ground and in such nice light against the dark background. The profile shows of that wonderful proboscis very well.

+1.  Not familiar with them or their behavior but the name certainly fits his face. Terrific exposure and isolation of the monkey.
