Taken Wednesday last week.  Foul day as previously mentioned. Techs were Nikon Z7II and 150-600 Sport at 600.  1/200 F6.3 at ISO 14400.

Followed this one at a discreet distance and waited for it to pass the tree before trying to catch its attention.

Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thanks for looking and hope all safe.

I love this one too much! Everything works well, a really perfect composition, the subdivision of the plans and the deer that hides behind the tree.
Stunning!

Great composition and nice depth with the secretive Sika Deer peeping round the tree to check you out. Excellent story telling image with beautiful detail on that distinctive head (I always think Sika Deer have a very handsome but rather angry expression). Beautifully done, Dave!

As usual, an unusual composition that works beautifully-so enchanting , that look from behind a tree, and the general environment. Sweet!

As always, your compositions work extremely well. Your thoughts that went into this image give an insight as to what you were looking for before squeezing the shutter. Terrific image.
