These are found only in Manas National Park - part  of which is in India and the rest in Bhutan. A few scattered tribes may be seen occasionaly in the periphery of the park. This was brought to the notice of the scientific world only in 1954 although people were aware it even before that. It is classified as Endangered by IUCN

Not easy shooting up into the tree canopy against a back light, Chidu. While it would be better to have a little more light to bring out the face details, you have captured a very nice attentive pose and detail of this handsome langur species.
