Watching deer, there is always one on duty, keeping an eye on things.  Early morning image.  Full frame as felt all elements mean something for the total.

D850   Sigma 150-600 at 350.  1/640 F8 ISO 2000.

Yes, full frame is certainly right for this classic early morning scene with the browsing deer in the mist, Dave.  Lovely mood and feel with this one.  :)

It's almost that time of year again, David. I like the idea but wish that there's more definition to the trees at the back. As is it looks to have too much negative space. Also, as an idea, with the MP of the D850, might be worth trying this in a portrait crop of just the stag and the trees.

Love the early morning light as it's softened by the mist. The composition works very well here.
