Another early morning shot.  Little cooler.  One of those rare days now in the UK when temperatures were near 0 degrees.
D850 and Sigma 150-600 1/500 F8 ISO 2000.

Please feel free to view uncompressed.   Thanks for looking and hope all safe.

A lovely view of young spike in the cold, damp air! It looks like the sort of cold that gets into your bones, and I can almost feel it just looking at your photo. Excellent capture with lovely alert pose and atmosphere, Dave.

He is so elegant, with one foot up- a beautiful soft setting to create a nice contrast. Is he looking for that hind you showed us earlier?;)

Thanks Cindy.  I thought, when I first laid eyes on him, he was a bit shifty!   :D
