Mother and juvenile polar bears. Rescuing files from a corrupted disc, so this is a few years old. Was taken in the month of April, the light is softer than in summer. About 600km from the pole. They came to investigate the smells of our little boat.

Great moment, makes you wonder what the mother senses and thinks. :)

Mother is using all her senses to check you out, and as they can smell prey up to a kilometre away she has been smelling your boat for a while! Lovely content and composition, Greg and I like the way they are posed. A fine shot with excellent detail - click to fully appreciate!

Aren't they something! Two beauties-I long to think they will be still strong and healthy in the present day.
