Hoary Bat
Gilbert, Arizona Nikon D500, 500mm f/5.6 PF, 1/3200, f/6.3, ISO800 It isn't often that you see any bat flying in the daytime. This one was flushed from its roost tree when a Barn Owl landed in it. It circled around for a short time and then presumably went and found another nearby roost spot. I wish the sun angle had been better, but this is the best situation I had in those brief seconds.
