I really like this image, Sougata, especially with the little one in the middle! Was this a crop? I wish I could see the whole herd, or at least include the individual on the left.
Regards,

Des

A nice family crossing scene, Sougata. I love the way the adults in an elephant herd always protect the calves by keeping them in the middle.

So nice to see this family group and how they surround and protect the little one. I like the low perspective, it makes them seem even bigger and more imposing!

Thank you Des. The elephants were quite close to click so I cropped it a bit to make it presentable. Moreover it was big herd of 30-35 elephants who were crossing the road swiftly due to our presence.

So pleasing to see this family group with the little one well protected. Pretty light too. A charmer.
