I took my first overseas trip since the pandemic started recently and visited Slovenia, what a great country with abundant wildlife.  We photographed this massive European Brown Bear from a blind there.

A nice view of the European version of the Grizzly, Nate. They really do look imposing when they stand up to full height, don't they! This one looks to have rubbed a fair bit of hair off its back against the trees, and that really accentuates the prominent shoulders - but it does seem to have a very benign expression!

Really like the pose of the bear, and it's framed so nicely among the tree trunks.

Nice pose, well captured in the low light.
