This mare is found in the Ochoco Mountain of Oregon, her color is very uncommon in the area. These Mustangs live in the Ponderosa Pines and lush forest.

They're not stupid are they Terry.  The trees give them some shelter and respite from winter storms, summer heat and biting flies, as well as some degree of camouflage from anyone/anything wishing them harm.  She looks quite at home in her surroundings and the light filtering through the trees adds a lovely feel and mood to your beautiful image.  Always good to see some of your horses.  :)

She seems to be quite aware of you- I like the setting with glimmers of sunlight and shade. A lovely shot of a beautiful horse.
