While everyone in the family was enjoying the sun'n sand by the beach, i sneaked away (with permission ofcourse) to revel in the beauty of this tropical island. Skittish and rarely out in the open - i caught this fellow with his mud mask facial and sunning for a better tan - the blue coloration of these lizards is only seen during the mating period. And as you can see despite my distance of atleast 30 feet he is very wary and we made eye contact!!
