Pregnant Red Squirrel

I thought I'd show this squirrel in contrast to Sougata's giant squirrel. She is resting in our big pine tree-I think, very pregnant. I'm not happy with the oof elements but I like the backlit part. We have an abundance of red squirrels here, and it looks like we are due for even more!

She looks a little sharper with a click!

I always like the halo effect produced by back lighting. It looks great on the red squirrel especially seen by clicking large. Nicely seen.

Either the birth is very imminent or she has just given birth and is already suckling by the look of her teats, Cindy. A very nice pose and backlight with lovely detail when clicked on. Nice one!

Thanks Carol. I wasn't sure of her state, but seeing her around, she sure looked tubby! Maybe she's just crunched up here... ;)

A really lovely specimen, with a beautiful backlight effect.
Here with us there is an invasion of gray squirrels, even if they are not particularly loved I find them so adorable.
