I've never seen an elephant look so small! Nicely done to show the total environment.

A very nice elescape, Sougata! I like your choice not to do a panorama presentation as this gives us a great view of the different layers of the environment, and the vastness of the setting in relation to the size of the elephant. The water level in the river looks very low - or is it just that time of year and will rise again after the rains?

Thank you Carol. You can see the forested hills and the super tall trees of the foothills as backdrop (which really dwarfs the giant).
The water level rises during monsoons submerging the banks and goes down after the rains subside. This was taken in late winter when the water level was quite low.
The Elephant was walking on the Bhutan side of the park while I was standing on the Indian side.

Fantastic frame.. The vertical perspective make the fame look more wonderful.
