A coyote with remnants of a coot taken yesterday at Bosque. I don't know if I feel worse for the coot or the coyote. The coyote was covered with cockleburrs on both sides. I can't imagine how he must feel when he lays down. He was also missing a lower canine tooth. This is the only coyote I have ever seen that had gray eyes instead of yellow.
Nikon D850, 300f4 PF, TC14E(420mm), f5.6@1/2500 sec., fairly large crop. All C&C welcome. Please click on image for better view. Thanks. Joe Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist. -Pablo Picasso
