One evening while returning from safari saw a herd of Elephants munching peacefully in the grasslands. They were so engrossed in eating that they didn't even notice me sitting on the ground at a distance of barely 30feet. A calf playfully came out on the road and started walking towards me as if we were non-existent.

A beautiful capture of this young calf wandering along, so happy in its own little world and appearing oblivious to your presence, Sougata.  Wildlife photography at its very best, a superb shot that tells a story without the photographer disturbing the subject in their daily behaviour.  I love it!  :)

Well seen and photographed, Sougata. The relaxed posture of the calf is a compliment to you!

Sweet shot-it looks preoccupied- how lucky to have been right there without disturbing the elephants.
