Shot this rare ungulate years back when I was leading a photo tour in Bhutan,Canon 7DII,500mm f4.

A nice find and good image! Its so strange to see deer with fangs - but we have the Asian Muntjac deer in England that have escaped from private collections and are now often seen running wild for many years, and they have the fangs just like this one. I have photographs of them - but not as good as yours, Debapratim.

This is the first time I've seen a picture of this species-had no idea deer had fangs! Excellent shot!! I even see a bit of tongue there. I wonder how they eat!

+1.  I don't know if I want to know what they eat...lol...I'd be running for my life.  Nice image of a very unusual animal.

Like other deers they eat leaves,grass,some moss and lichens......
