Under a glorious sunset sky, a nervous Bull Ele has his feeding interrupted by a Lion pride making their way towards him.

Being critical here, I was a little concerned that this was looking far too clean and reminded me of a lot of images that are devoid of reality through gross PS manipulation, but can assure fellow NatureScapers, all that was done to this image were a custom curves layer to the sky BG and a slight levelling.
But for anyone who has visited this area will know there are certain areas on it's western boundaries whereby the landscape takes on a Windows desktop wallpaper, such is it's "picture perfection". :)

A beautifully composed image. Love the pose and how it reveals the bull’s nervousness. Great background colors as well. Well done, Marc!

We know your work too well to ever consider that you would manipulate your images, Marc! The composition, light, mood and impeccable capture of this mighty bull turning to face his perceived threat from the approaching lions is a wonderful moment and a true glimpse of the real Africa, as all your shots are!

Beautifully done!

i love the simplicity of this image with a really nice sky and a pose that tells you something is of concern to the elephant.. A very special image.
