Western Side-blotched Lizard

A Western Side-blotched Lizard at the entrance to the Arboretum at Bosque on April 22. The cactuses are in bloom and there are a couple of feeders for the birds and hummingbirds in the arboretum that attract a variety of species. 
Nikon D700, TC14E(420mm), f 5.6@1/2500 sec., handheld.

You can definitely see how it got its name, Joe! I like lizards and we don't see many of them here, so its good to see this little beauty. A click brings out the detail nicely.

Joe, an excellent diagonal pose with beautiful subtle color in the lizard. The background is a perfect complement.
