While sitting at home due to the huge surge of Covid cases in India, tried something different. Critics are welcome.
Canon 70D, 100-400 IS II,
f-5.6, s-1/400, ISO-800

I agree with Dave, great conversion and the darkened image creates a distinct darkened mood. Very nice work!

Definitely a very dramatic image in black and white, Sougata, quite befitting this magnificent species. Personally, I would go just a tiny bit lighter/brighter with the conversion, to bring out a little more detail from the darker areas on the hide, while still leaving the black background - but that is only my personal opinion, and you must do what feels right for you!
