Barren-ground caribou migration on the move outside of Rankin Inlet, NU, Canada. Every year, this spectacle brings more than 10,000-20,000+ caribou through the coast of the Hudson Bay, not 5km further than Rankin Inlet. Here is a close-up of a small fraction of the herd.

This image certainly gives us an idea of the density of caribou herds during the migration, David! They must be quite a sight to see.

Awesome. Between this and the muskox photo you posted earlier, please tell me you don't see anything else for the other 363 days of the year! So cool that you have this epic and iconic wildlife near you.
