Lockdown has been terrible.  Stood in line for two hours.  This is the result.  Will the ladies go for it?   My life depends on it....

Ok... Not really sure why this fella was doing the "pretty myself" as the rut had finished two months back... maybe  mild weather and temperature still conditioning behaviour traits... Only other comment being these Red Deer move into the woods in the winter as not only it being warmer, but food is more available.  (they tend to rut in more open moorland ground).

Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thank you for looking and hope all safe.

Best wishes.

Great behaviour capture, superb shot, Dave!  He thinks he looks good, and that's all that matters.

I think I have some old photos from the '70's where I was all dressed up and looked about as cool as this big guy, life definitely depended on it. Ah the lengths we go to... Anyway, I think this image is great. The head adornment is amazing. I like the mix of soft and sharp areas within your photo.
