Lava Beds National Monument, Ca
7D2, 500+1.4, F8, 1/4000, ISO 800, beanbag.  Freezing fog was apparent in the original raw file.  I stepped on it pretty hard to salvage during post processing.  Thanks for any comments or suggestions, Dave

Love the frozen setting and the inquisitive looking deer. Must see high res. Lovely detail in the foreground frost, and the deer. Great direct gaze too. Nice work!

The frost adds a wonderful mood to the image and the eye contact is excellent. I would be tempted to move the buck a little more off-center. Well done!
