Interesting composition of a beautiful animal. Needs to be viewed in high rez to get a true sense of how well the crop works with this image. Wish I had a few "old friends" like this around here !!

The framing is brilliant, Dave! When I opened the image, I felt as though I was looking out of a large picture window at the moment this handsome stag wandered by and looked at me. And in large view, I felt he was almost placing his nose on the glass. A beautifully done image! The fine detail and eye contact could not be better. Very well done!

Its all been said, Dave.  Beautifully done - and its almost like he is also looking at you and thinking, he's more like an old friend.... :)

Well hello! What a magnificent view-so up close and personal, so to speak. There's something so very alive -almost 3D about this stag-it looks like he could walk right out of the picture. Love the direct (old friend) gaze- superb, Dave!

That's a daring composition and I like it, works with the curious gaze he is giving you. Nice detail in the larger view.

Loving the quizzical pose and BG colours Dave, nice detail/quality coming through in the HD file.

Is this F/F, wondering if you captured the full rack?

Really wonderful shot!
I love this asymmetrical composition, I find it really interesting and dynamic,
it makes me imagine that the deer is walking forward towards the empty space.
The details of the foreground are also very beautiful, like as the background so well blurred.
