I was lucky to find a pair of adult foxes and their 6 kits this spring. I never found the den but when the farmer cut and baled the hay, they all came out to play on the big bales every evening   I asked the farmer to leave a few of the bales in the field for the foxes (and me).  I made him some nice prints to thank him.

Always lovely to see the natural interaction between your wild foxes, Steve, and this is a beauty. Great composition and poses with this playful pair on the hay bale, and a must click to view the uncompressed frame. Superb image. Love it!

Very interesting and well executed shot. Good job noticing this behavior and acting on it. I'm sure the farmer/landowner is happy with his prints as well !!

Steve, this is excellent. The hay bales make a great perch, and good for you for providing the farmer with prints. The dark green background really makes the foxes pop. Well done!

Wonderfully entertaining shot- and it must so great to watch them. It must be interesting to see how they play on the hay bales.

Great composition. The foxes are expertly positioned in that dark area in the pines, nice.
