Captured these Roosevelt's Elk while they took an evening stroll on the California Beach.

Cowabunga! (Sorry couldn't resist). In addition to the incongruous elk on the beach location, I really like the sense of depth in the photo as well.

Beautiful light, atmosphere and composition. It's great that you captured all these Elk on the beach at once and posing just for you! I don't recognize this spot, but I've gone down to the beach at Golden Bluffs State Park several times looking, only to be told that I just missed them. Some day!
