Giving me the old look!   One wonders about our existence, as animals seem to just look at us with a mild indifference.  There's a thought.

Taken in Richmond Park.  Years back, there were some huge racked Stags.  Worryingly, the last few years have seen the biggest stags culled. They appear to want to be sized down by the park authorities.  Not convinced that rational is good for the species.

Techs were Nikon D800 and 500 AF-SII.

Hope all safe.

Please feel free to view uncompressed.

Thank you and take care.

This image is outstanding, David! The detail, BG and that “look” all add up to a fine image. Too bad that the biggest and most regal animals always pay the price for their magnificence!

Lovely portrait Dave, the look of disdain here takes this above the average.

Fantastic shot- perfect framing. I do wonder about that "look". Indifferent? Or perhaps a little wary. Magnificent rack--maybe a good reason to be wary!

Beautiful portrait, David. I think he's looking at someone not wearing a mask.
