A young Spotted Hyena foraging on a quite old elephant carcass in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.  Quite a few elephants perished in droughts there the previous year.

Great feeding behavior, Nate. Like the low angle and the detail. Very nice!

Well, somebody has to do the clean up jobs, Nate. At least the hyena has the jaw strength to chew on an old dried up ele! A great angle and excellent view of this scene.
