For years , I was trapped in the illogical fear of shooting at high ISO . On a recent trip to Masai Mara , I was tempted to finally use Auto ISO , specify the minimum shutter speed needed , and let it flow . This was the first image with this , and a paradigm shift for me . As my photography guide had mentioned earlier in the day , " I would rather have a noisy but sharp image than a clean but blurred one !"
Canon 1DX mk III , Canon 400mm f/2.8 ISIII USM , ISO : 25600 , f/2.8 , Evaluative metering +0.67 , 1/1000. |
