Small crop whilst watching this young fella.  An air of nervousness with the main "man" not too far away and the Hinds too close to be comfortable.

Techs for Nikon 500 AF-S at F4 and Iso 400.  Tripod mounted.  (have repeatedly found that tripod equals sharper images, despite the lack of portability and my own comfort.  On the flip side, once I sit down, things unfold).

Please feel free to view uncompressed.  Thank you for looking.  Hope all well and safe.

Excellent job of isolating your subject, Dave. The blurred vegetation before and behind this youngster really makes him stand out beautifully. Detail is spot-on. A first-rate image, and a pleasure to view.

Glad to hear from you Ron.  Hope well.  (you'll laugh at this, but a few moments back I was timing your responses which were tonight, between 4 and 5 minutes other than a 20 minute break).

Sounds a bit scary, but not meant.  More, or rather, what is happening with Covid-19 makes me value and appreciate what others give more and hoping those I know are all well.  (haven't heard much from Cindy recently, so hope ok).

Appreciate your thoughts and comments, which I always say, but will say today, that doesn't say my appreciation to my satisfaction.

What a handsome profile. He's going to be a real head turner when he matures from being a young spike, to a fully crowned stag.

A beautiful image, Dave!
