Always good to see red foxes in the forum, and I like the alert pose as this one keeps watch over the family. I'm wondering if its bothered by fleas, as it looks like its been chewing the itches in the parts of the flank and rump where it can reach. A nice sighting, Paul!

A nice alert pose, Paul. Wondering if you got any shots in the foxes natural habitat?

The den is under a storage shed that is part of our downtown Yacht Club right next to a paved walkway that people walk by all day long. This is the only green landscape around on the opposite side of the paved path. Everything else is buildings etc.

Well, I guess it is a sign of how well the fox can adapt when mankind intrudes on its territory. Nice shot.
