Walking in the desert with my dog - very early morning a few weeks ago; the desert is lush and green especially in the grassy flat areas. We both surprised one another. I stood perfectly still and when she realized we were not a threat she put on a show. I think she was flirting with my dog.  She circled us, stretched, and finally laid down.

Its always magical sharing special moments with wildlife, AnnaMaria, and you got a beautiful image of this relaxed behaviour and flirty body language. Well done for seizing the moment and getting such a good result!

A wonderful story, AnnaMaria. I'm surprised the Coyote put on such a show – just amazing. And you captured it so well.

Great capture of this desert dog. One of my favorite subjects and one I have had many opportunities to observe at Bosque. They are always entertaining when they aren’t afraid. The bigger image on SmugMug really shows off the detail nicely and the tiny purple flowers add a nice touch. Well done.

What a sweet story and wonderful result. Such a playful pose..perhaps like a dog's play bow? Love it!
