Eyes Wide Open

Nothing special about this - just a vixen on her evening patrol.  I rarely get a shot of a fox with its eyes wide open - they always seem to be squinting or the eyes are in the shadows of their brow.  If you look closely you can see that she is nursing cubs - I hope I can find her den... As you say, she's certainly suckling cubs, Steve.  A nice eye level view and raised paw action as she trots by and checks out the lie of the land with her wide open golden eyes.  If you do find the den I hope you'll share the results with us.  :)
