Just after a rain squall. All sheltering. Have left as seen so no cloning as the ear direction, and even the ear on the left is part of the story.
Barely 500m away was a pride of lions.. (not sure if these Impala were aware but they sure were on the look out and in one direction only). Nikon 300 2.8 at f4.5. 1/160 at ISO 400. Please feel free to view uncompressed. Thank you for looking and a pleasure to hear from any that post as as indicator perhaps that all is well in their camp. On another note, I have been quite struck how beautiful Impala actually are. Make your life spectacular!
