Processed this week.  Was struck by the colour contrast of the Red Billed Oxpecker and it's benefactor.   Was brushing up my Swahili for a new trip but that's not happening right now, hence the peek in my archives.

Edited to show horizontal view.

Good choice of framing to showcase the oxpecker at work, bloodthirsty things! Excellent behaviour capture, Dave.

Great time to find those old gems, huh? Love this the rather winsome expression, and the bright bird's bill. Wonderful artistic crop.

Lovely image - wonderful contrasts and position of the bird.
Our upcoming 2 months in africa - supposed to leave April 14 - is toast too. Very disappointing, but safety has to be the priority.
A good time for all of us to dig through our archives.

That's a bummer Sandy, but as said, a dig in the archives is good and a refresher on some good memories.
