I've been fortunate to find two different groups of river otters that permanently live in a network of remote marsh ponds. They're very shy, so it takes getting in early and only leaving when they're done feeding and quietly resting, just so I don't disturb them. In return, I've gotten to witness some fantastic natural behaviors. This morning a gentle snow was falling, and my friends were out doing their thing.

Such a nice capture in a natural environment, doing what it "otter" ;). The snowflakes are a nice touch for an idea of time and place. Lovely low angle shot-you patience was well rewarded.

Looks like you're on a roll with these lovely wildlife scenes, Drew! Otters are so fascinating to watch, and you got a beautiful shot of this one with its catch on the frozen pond, and I love the pose with head turn and raised forepaw. The golden reeds provide a perfect background. Love it!

Excellent low perspective, detail, and pose. The snow is beautiful. And the fish in the mouth is the perfect finishing touch.
