I've been fortunate to find two different groups of river otters that permanently live in a network of remote marsh ponds. They're very shy, so it takes getting in early and only leaving when they're done feeding and quietly resting, just so I don't disturb them. In return, I've gotten to witness some fantastic natural behaviors. This morning a gentle snow was falling, and my friends were out doing their thing.
