Your hard work paid off for you. Nice balance of warm and cool colors. The intensity of his stare is great. Your description of the setup makes me feel the chill and determination you felt.

I love the intense eye contact, the gorgeous sidelight, and the wonderful low perspective. First class image all the way, Drew. Congrats.

Your patience, observation and planning paid off, Drew. I love the eye level view, the head on perspective, the sweet detail, lovely colours and light.

A beautiful image. Well done!

Carol.

Perfect light and a really wonderful intent look on this trotter. Congratulations on your well-deserved EP.

This is a fantastic image... I love all of the elements that support the shot. The coyote has a lovely unsuspecting gaze, the background isolates the animal beautifully, and the icy substrate tells a story about the time of year.
bravo!
