Nice wild-eyed, open mouth bugling pose with a typical Yellowstone BG. One nit is the cutoff lower legs.

Hi David, agree on the cut off feet issue considering the amount of negative space above. I assume you are shooting from a car with the bean bag, otherwise if on foot being lower and a slight incline shooting up, may have been nice. I doubt it's heat haze, but I would run some NR to the BKG. Obtaining the best Histogram you can with the 7D2 is key, as it's less forgiving than other bodies.

What a fine bugling pose. Great symmetry as well. I also see a square crop option here, for a portrait, if the clipped hooves are an issue. Very nice image.
