How wonderful is that! Great exposure on the whites. leaving plenty of detail.

Fantastic photograph of such an infrequently seen species.
I love the contrast of the white fur against the mossy habitat.

Wow- terrific shot! Love how it is emerging from it's hiding place, perhaps?   My one ermine encounter ended up with a great photo of, well,  the other end. Nice tail tip anyway! They are Soooo fast!

Thank You.  This curious ermine caught a vole inside that stump opening minutes before - I gambled it would come back. They seem to never stop moving.  Lucky to catch a pause.
