Just thought to snick in another image. Bit busier, but as I grow into cruel elde age, sometimes the extra elements add more appeal.

Deer not taking too much notice of me, but the off Deer had something on their radar. (other than the deer at the top that was quite happily munching)

500 F4. at 5.6. Early morning.

This is a wonderful example of the type of unique and engaging image that becomes possible with your signature slow-approach, camouflage technique, Dave. The light and color are beautiful, and I like that each deer in the herd seems to being doing its own thing. None of them are looking in your direction and none seemed concerned with your presence, because most likely they do not know you are there. Brilliant.

What I love most about this beautiful composition is the wonderful depth created by the various deer, their placement and variety of poses, and the gorgeous light on the star of the show as she is captured in such sweet detail. A great view of these handsome reds in habitat, Dave. A beauty!

How do you manage this Dave? I'd say things improve with age!! Such a stunning collection -this one is really unique in the way the herd is scattered so naturally and the central doe so beautifully portrayed. Not to mention the glorious colors. Just magical. Keep 'em coming.
