A favourite in Bwata Bwata NP is Horseshoe, as the name suggests, a large perennial oxbow lake with picturesque white-sand beaches, surrounded by Zambezi teak woodlands.

The amount of dung on the beach confirms that this is a favourite watering hole, and the elephants look quite content as they take their refreshment. A nice peaceful scene.

A good behavioral image of elephants watering, and the dripping and splashing water provides a little bit of action.
