Ventured across this hyena first thing in morning. Her and a pup were tucked back in the  mopani trees. Have some shots of both of them but most have brush in foreground. This was the cleanest shot.

I can see why they are sometimes called "laughing" Hyenas. Great expression and a nice environment.

Good to see some images of these fascinating creatures and although this is tight enough at the bottom and I would prefer a touch more space for the feet, I love her alert pose and expression.
