Nikon d4 500mm. Hyena on high alert approaching water hole at sunrise. *edited to fit critique.

Very nice pose and lovely morning light. You could achieve a more asymmetrical composition by cropping off some of the out of focus vegetation on the right, which does not add much to the picture.

Very nice light on the hyena and I like the alert pose. Looks like a successful crop as to Ron's suggestion.

RP is better, but the central OOF leaf on the chest is too distracting, blacks/shadows in the face appear heavy and need a slight lift to bring out some detail and form. Can you add the techs please.
