This lovely Polar bear cub, (probably from this year) was just so cute!!! Shot wide to bring in the habitat, you can see the undulating pack ice they roam on and the flat light of the day with the horizon. Caught the dial on the back of the camera, hence the low SS, but thankfully it didn't hurt the image.

A nice find and comical pose from this youngster, Steve. I like your choice of the wider view including more of the frozen habitat - it works well here.

Cute indeed! Love the endearing , somewhat awkward pose, and the habitat adds a lot.

'somewhat awkward pose'

Thats what I find appealing Cynthia, as the cub struggled over the pack ice the sound of the shutter must have caught his/her attention, so it's caught in mid stride. Head up, nose in the air sniffing the strange, yet new smells that emanating... :)

Cubs are just so darn cute. I like the wider shot and particularly that some of the ice is blue, adds a nice pop of color to the image.

Nice image Steve. Like the pose and the details in the foreground and cyan colour denser ice.
