I was on an extended trip photographing early summer bears in the Khutzeymateen in British Columbia. The grizzly bear photography was simply amazing because of my proximity to the bears and the unique habitat they were in. With most of the photography being done from a zodiac, we spent quite a bit of time cruising the shoreline in search of bears, wolves, and otters. The one thing we did not expect to see was a wolverine. In fact, the people who hosted us said that this was only the 2nd time in 30 years that they have spotted a wolverine in the the Khutzeymateen... needless to say, I would have been excited to see this species let alone photograph it.

cheers,
bruce

Very cool to catch one out in the open with nice colors of the forest. Also nice to see the front feet off the ground implying motion and not looking directly at you.

Wow, what a great find! I've never seen one in North America. I love the action as he looks to be running really fast, practically all feet in the air. I also like the head turned pose and the habitat. Really, really nice!

What a thrill to even see one, Bruce! To capture such a good view of this one on the run is quite something. Well done!

Amazing shot. I take one shot of Wolverine against thousands of shots of bears anytime. One of my favorite animals. So rare to see in the wild.

Consider yourself very lucky or god is very generous to you or both :-)
