I noticed this young fox bedding down at this location at dawn, after a night's hunt. Thereafter, I moved my blind into position in an effort to catch the fox bedded down. Normally, like most of you, I don't care for blades off grass covering parts of my subject, but in this situation the blades of grass define this fox’s bedding site, and they are an intended and important part of the image. Hope you understand and agree. Please click on the image to view it full size. Thank you.

Love this one, Ron! There is a soft, dreamy quality to the image that is soothing. Don’t mind the grass at all.

Lovely shot Ron! I am with you 100% with the grass in front. Many times like in this case it adds to overall feel.. Sometimes I intensionally frame the subject surrounded with grass including in front, giving it nice soft feel.

The grasses are perfect to frame this pretty fox resting after its night time hunting activities. They help to illustrate the secretive nature of these fascinating animals and add a lot to the image. Beautifully done, Ron!

Another fabulous Fox image Ron. You never, ever disappoint with your fox shots. Always stunning, loaded with intensity, great light and interest. (PS, it wouldn't look right without the grasses).... The head and eyes are clear and are cleverly balanced by a growing sapling on the foxes right.

Congratulations.

The setting is perfect for the context-wouldn't have it any other way. The fox's look is priceless-as always, you find the utmost beauty in these lovable animals. Gorgeous shot!
